Heh. Personally, I see it as litterally turning Doug into a sentient Kite for the duration of the song! Or maybe a hang glider, since it's a man sized kite, really. Either way, you don't want to be too far off the ground when it runs out, so he'd probobly want the movie version of it, with its nice long bridges between verses.
