Personally, I'm trying to figure out what is going on with Kyoko, in that the apparent emotional breakdown of the "drunk" scene simply Does. Not. Fit. with her continuing to act this way afterwards.
Unless I'm misremembering, she was remorseful and blaming herself in that scene, and getting drunk to try to cope with her reaction; then afterwards, every time we see her interact with Asuka she's right back to the way she was, and possibly getting even worse.

It's not impossible to have an explanation of why she would do something like that, but having one which is *not* just a matter of "she's maintaining her previous behaviour as a facade" - which this doesn't seem to be - is much harder, and we haven't been given any explanation in the first place.

Maybe Kyoko herself has unresolved Mommy/Daddy issues and is projecting? OR she's using Asuka as a proxy for Pieter, one who isn't sexy enough (to her) to distract her from her anger?''We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat
them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.''

Kyoko's broken enough that I think she should be rendered down for parts or used for meat. There's something wrong between her occiput and oculus, and it offends me."No can brain today. Want cheezeburger." From NGE: Nobody Dies, by Gregg Landsman

My own pop-psychology analysis of Kyoko is that she's projecting her own sense of failure upon Asuka. Remember, she's the second ranking scientist of NERV and so forth. If she's remotely as competitive as canon!Asuka, then Yui Ikari's dominant position would grate severely. But still, Kyoko has to work with Yui (however badly), it's the only game in town. She can't vent upon Yui, it would be unthinkable for her own self to fail so fault for this failure is...Well, to some extent Pieter, but post divorce he wasn't around to be Kyoko's whipping boy and Asuka was. So Kyoko mentally labelled Asuka as equalling fail and punished her the way Kyoko subconciously feels she herself should be punished for failing to be the best.
 Just my 2c.
I'm not basing any credence on anything the adults claim to be the case, btw. They all seem to be lying to everyone. It's worse than a game of Paranoia.

The author notes that yes, Kyokos mother was an utter bitch, and treated Kyoko much the same way. And now Kyoko is a nobel prize winner and the second-in-command of the biggest scientific project in history. So yes, she tells herself that it's all for the girls own good. But outside of how she keeps justifying it, she's just a bitch.

Dunno, but what I noticed was Uri's attempt to solve the budding catfight...
...And the fact that, given we see all three of the persons involved 1, breathing, and 2, cooperating, later in the chapter.

He just might end up forgiving Kaji for the Note Card Incident after all.

(O_O) Gyyyyaaaaawwwd daayyyuuumm! Ladies and Gentlemen, we give you Kyoko Soryu at her finest!
Holy crap, Greg Landsman has it out for her. I'm starting to wonder where this is going to end up and none of it looks terribly promissing for Kyoko.

I suspect that she has a deathwish. Whether it's a Doc Holliday type of deathwish, where she's already dying and doesn't care about the future because of it, or because she's just embraced the true horror of Humanity fighting the servants of the Almighty and believes herself damned, so she's going in with both feet, I think only time will tell.

...Or it could be because she's an extensively rebuilt experimental military cyborg.

My guess is that, in their attempt to match EVA performance with JA, the JSSDF resorted to "Gunslinger Girl'ing" Mana.

		22 is out now.
Mana is a government cyborg, probably much like the pilots of the VF-27s in Macross Frontier, so that she can survive Jet Alone Prime's performance.

 And Mari's coffin is empty....
....and Kaworu has Uriel all to himself.
 This is Not Good.

In the future... no one will know CPR!--
So I guess my question is: What did Lillith spawn in response to ADAM losing?
Also, I agree with Rei... he is a complete and total kill steal.  Seriosly, if he had also ninjaed the loot he would have been as big an expletive as you can be without being a PK on top of it.
 Edit to avoid double posting.

New Chapter out, because the author has surpassed such puny human concerns as "sleep".
 - Sandalphon woke up and was fully born this time around. This is bad, as he's a mind controller.

 - Unit 00's gone bye bye, Asuka. What else you got?

 - Asuka gets a full on Gundam "fall into the cockpit" moment, and 02....likes her. What's going on here?
