It's even weirder if you follow the http://ask-jappleack.tumblr.com/]Ask Jappleack blog that companions it and is written and drawn by the same animator. It started out as a foul-mouthed Applejack ask-blog and has recently taken a turn for the bizarrely dramatic.
Interesting little thing, but takes a while to load.

What Pony are you?
Edit:
DS's results
Applejack: 100%
Fluttershy: 90%
Twilight Sparkle: 50%
Rainbow Dash: 50%
Rarity: 0%
Pinkie Pie: 0%
So apparently I'm most like Applejack

I'm most like Rainbow Dash, with Applejack a close second. Pinky Pie and Rarity are tied for third, with Twilight close behind and Fluttershy in a distant last place.

How do you get it to give those percentages?
Edit: There we go:

Damn thing crashed when I tried to get those to pop up.

I got my percentage chart by following the link included into the forum embed for the pictures. Then, I downloaded the chart as an image, uploaded it on imageshack, and embedded it here with the [img] code. Not convoluted at all, right?

blackaeronaut Wrote:Jinx: How the heck did you manage that!? Doesn't seem too mysterious to me: the "q=mumblefrotz" part of the URL encodes all the responses to the quiz, and the php constructs the appropriate result page based on that. A person with too much time on their hands could decode the q= format and then construct URLs for particular results without actually doing quizzes for those results.

...so I'm apparently a combination of Rarity and Rainbow Dash, in roughly equal(ly large) quantities, with small amounts of the others.
Since RD is my least favorite, and the one least like me, methinks the test is a biiiiiiiiiit inaccurate.
(Should've been Twilight/Rarity, with a bit of Fluttershy.)

Never mind accuracy, my issue with it is its utterly arbitrary questions/answers. Favourite colour doesn't indicate anything in my eyes, I'm a big fan of many forms of art, and the question about pizza portions lacks a Twilight Sparkle answer that makes sense (c'mon, you're a tool-using ape pony, all three can get 2 and 2/3rds pieces).
Of course, lack of connection between test and result would make accuracy difficult, wouldn't it?

Well, mine seemed fairly accurate, and he explains some of the rationale behind some of the questions in the FAQ section, so there is that...

I got that from answering the questions, NOT by playing games with the software. You're just jealous. IIRC, my answers were: Green Afternoon Listener Spring Average Most No Hello Talk Depends Present Yes Maybe Enjoy Active Sculptre Don't Like Cat Cold Spades Avocado(IIRC) Mountains No purpose Shapeshift fedora Unicorn 2-2-4 Work out Usuallyor Lead (can't remeber which) Anime Def Male Paper.

Honestly from reading the full personality write-ups of Twilight and Rarity I'd say Twilight is actually a better fit for me, but it is close enough that I'm not too fussed, and when you take the overall shape into account rather than just "most like" it becomes much closer.

Hmmm... really, when you get down to it, Twilight and Rarity really do have similar personalities. They both have similar work ethics. (That whole "I'll sleep when it's done" thing. Applejack does that, too.) Really, the main difference is in how they regard a stranger. Rarity is grace, poise, and (above all) generosity. The model hostess. As long as someone at least makes an effort to not be a boor, Rarity will do whatever she can to accommodate them. Twilight, on the other hand, is the pragmatic academic - friendly, polite, yet aloof and skeptical. She only really opens up with her close friends, and even then it can be an awkward experience. Even if she doesn't realize herself that its awkward. (OMG - positive feedback loop of awkward!)
Does that help any?

The Ballad of Twilight Sparkle updates with Chapter 15.
This chapter's highlight for me:
Quote:Flat-Hoof rolled his eyes at the parting comment; word had quickly spread around the station that he and his partner had requested an audience with Princess Celestia in order to question her about her connection to Ms. Rarity and the unicorn's hot-air balloon. Opinion seemed split: half of the police force thought the two investigators were only stopping briefly in Canterlot before continuing their journey straight to the Moon; the other half believed that the sheer atomic weight of Flat-Hoof and Horseshoe's solid plutonium reproductive organs would make escape velocity all but impossible.
The Chief wanted nothing to do with it, and swore that if the two ponies messed up and it became public knowledge that the NYPD was accusing Celestia of being an accomplice to some crime... well, then they wouldn't need to worry about the Princess sending them to the Moon; the Chief herself would personally make sure that the two ponies disappeared from this Earth.
