Steam HackSome common sense advice as well.
“We can never undo what we have done. We can never go back in time. We write history with our decisions and our actions. But we also write history with our responses to those actions. We can leave the pain and the damage in our wake, unattended, or we can do the work of acknowledging and fixing, to whatever extent possible, the harm that we have caused.”

I know i'm going to be keeping an eye on my credit card statement (yay for Mint), but I don't expect to see anything funky pop up.
I trust steam more than I trust sony (this may prove to be misplaced).

But I still changed my steam password and forum password.
and good ideas in the second article.
I need to check and see if I can get a virtual credit card set up for Steam and CoH

The problem is if you use the same username/password anywhere else they also need to be changed. I recently had to go through this excercize because two of my common throwaway name/passwords where compromised. Now steam did the proper thing and salted and hashed the passwords, so they would need to build a rainbow table specifically for steam's salt(assuming they picked a proper salt) which will take some time, but eventually the bad guys will know all the passwords in the database. It's a pain.
