She had those "fixed" in fourth year. She had been cursed by a classmate to grow rabbit teeth. Madam Pomfrey fixed them (but Hermione didn't have them "restored to original" so much as "corrected smaller-than-original"). OTOH, the Dursleys took Harry for a haircut that grew out before they got home, so some things can't be fixed? Maybe?
"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle
"Being told to be 'open minded' about something is usually a code for 'you're not going to like this, but I want to subject you to it anyway'. Conversely, being told that you are 'closed-minded' is generally a means of asserting that 'I don't like the fact that you're proving me wrong, so I will pretend that your failure to agree with my argument is a philosophical deficiency'." - RationalWiki
I think the difference was Hermoine wanted smaller teeth, but Harry did not like the haircut (wasn't it a buzzcut or something like that?)

... what is Facebook Prison and why specifically should I be doing the Nelson Muntz laugh, as a non-user?

They rarely tell you why and are often erratic about enforcement (punishing some people but not others for posting the same link/image). I did see a post a while back that with the company name change, Facebook Jail should now be called Metapause. |
