Hey, at least he had science confirm his theory of its existence before he died. Plenty of scientists had their theories confirmed only after they had long been dead.

Tony Felloni - known as King Scum.

Heroin dealer who used children.
A baby of his died of Heroin withdrawal 3-days after birth.

We are better for having lost him.

I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed.

One day they're going to ban them.

RIP Steve Albini

Heart attack, age 61.

Quote:Albini was a legend of the recording studio, though he preferred the term “engineer” to “producer.” He recorded Nirvana’s In Utero, Pixies’ Surfer Rosa, PJ Harvey’s Rid of Me, and countless more classic albums, and remained an outspoken critic of exploitative music industry practices until his final years.

There was a helicopter crash and the circumstances at the time of the crash certainly were such that it being an accident is likely.

Unfortunately, given the geopolitical situation that doesn't mean that fingers won't be pointed at conspiracy or foreign interference.

RIP Gordon Bell

If you can afford to buy a computer, thank Gordon Bell. He lead the charge to reduce the price of computers back in the 1960s.

Quote:Roughly every decade a new, lower priced computer class forms based on a new programming platform, network, and interface resulting in new usage and the establishment of a new industry.
