Just keep in mind the writing porcess - building the filesize up to the point where it's ready to edit takes the first 90% of the writing time; editing it down to something readable takes the other 90%...

When we hit the end of our chapter outline. We know exactly what has to be in this installment, and we know how the chapter ends. We just have to get there -- which is three more scenes.
Unfortunately right now Chris is stalled on a scene, and I've been sick the last two days -- just enough that I groan at the thought of writing.
If the chapter lent itself to splitting into two, I would have suggested doing so to Chris by now, so that we could release a smaller chapter 3 now, and a roughly equal-sized chapter 4 not long from now. But the material as it stands doesn't have an internal structure that would allow us to do so.
