For now, let's just call it "Planet X"
That's X as in 10.
Newly-spotted distant dwarf planet orbits the Sun every 700 years

I recall a Kantai Collection crossover fic being posted a while ago. These 3D-model resources might be of interest if one wishes to illustrate that story ... or if there's a character out there with a very weird biomod.

It looks to me like somebody took the Feisar Ship from Wipeout , added engines from a X-Wing and a paint job from a Colonial Viper... so I'm guessing it's either a pet project lovingly crafted by a Generalist Fan or a desperation job thrown together by somebody trying to limp back to Convention space.

Clearly Elon Musk's big announcements of the last few days don't really apply to Fenspace per se , since in Fenspace he'd either already be on Mars or he'd be doing something equally grandiloquent and nuts with wavetech, but his Big Fucking Rocket has inspired some interesting discussions on what you can do with All The Heavy Lift .

(Also a protracted discussion regarding zero-G sex and pornography, for those interested. Never say I don't do anything for you guys.)

Two in today's news:You know how cop cars pile into each other in old comedy movies? That's how the Moon was built
Asteroid nearly gave Earth a new feature, two days after its discovery - and barely grazes the Earth-Luna L1 point in the process. In Fenspace, Thunderbird 5 must have been on evacuation alert.

		Space, is big....http://www.theatlantic.com/video/index ... -universe/
Jet Jaguar was supposed to be a person who lived in this 'big' space. Regretabbly, I never quite pulled that part of the character off. The human mind cannot truly comprehend metacthonic depths of outer-space.

Okay, so I just watched the backer's preview of MST3K Experiment 1101, and I just have to say: in terms of aesthetics, tone and just general goofiness the entire goddamn thing could be a Fen production, either IC or OOC.

That sounds about right. I'm going to be digging into the episodes here myself. My husband has already watched almost all of them.
How many revival backers do we have here, anyway?

		The Semiotic Standard
Initially popular as a common set of hazard markings on multilingual spacecraft- it's popularity faded after being circumstantially linked to a series of inexplicable feelings of dread and uneasiness aboard the spacecraft that employed it. One notorious case involved a tug being abandoned by its crew in orbit of 426 Acheron when uneasiness descended into mass-hysteria prompted by sightings of something .

Recovery crews found nothing aboard.

Still a regular enough sight to not confirm it as a common quirk, and most ships employing the standard ply their trade without incident.
